SOCIO-HYGIENIC LITERACY IN THE SYSTEM OF FORMATION OF POPULATION’S REPRODUCTIVE BEHAVIOR

The article describes the main conditions for the formation of reproductive behavior of the population, defi nes the place of socio-hygienic literacy in their system. Some results of the study of population’s reproductive potential are presented (the Vologda Region case). The basic directions of work to raise population’s awareness on the issues of reproduction, bases of health-building behavior, sexual culture of the population are grounded and proposed
