The work uses methods of economic and mathematical modeling, retrospective and statistical analysis. When analyzing housing construction in the municipalities, we have developed a typology of the Republic of Karelia districts on the rate of implementing residential houses. In the context of the region’s municipalities, we present a graphic material on the rate of implementing apartment blocks and individual houses. According to the results of the analysis of indicators in the field of the region’s housing construction, we note the main factors and trends of the identified changes.
