RISK FACTORS OF SUICIDAL BEHAVIOR AND WAYS OF THEIR OVERCOMING

The article estimates the state of affairs concerning suicidal behavior in Russia. It contains correlation and regression analysis of suicide risk factors and describes certain psychological characteristics of individuals who belong to the group of increased suicidal risk. The paper also presents the main results of the analysis of domestic and international experience of suicide prevention practice and proposes the directions for expanding such practice in Russia
